Enterprise AI is the most untapped opportunity for impactful work in AI today. Enterprise AI is the application of AI to traditional industries outside of software industry such as Energy, Manufacturing, Banking and Aerospace. C3.ai as a leading enterprise AI software provider for accelerating digital transformation has a unique position to make this impact. At C3, we work with some of world’s largest enterprises to transform them to the increasingly digital and AI-driven world we are part of. In this talk, I will first cover the AI Suite that we have developed at C3 which is the foundational enabler for us to rapidly solve machine learning problems and seamlessly put those models into production with minimal effort. Secondly, I will give an overview of a few prevalent applications that seem to be ubiquitous across many if not all industries, and at the end, I will go deep into a specific problem, namely Predictive Maintenance. Specifically, I will present how novel techniques have been designed and implemented to accommodate the need of every specific use case according to its available data sources, and business requirements such as prediction of failure versus detection of anomaly, failure type prediction, and diagnostics analysis based on feature contributions of the machine learning model. I will show how our performance has beaten industry benchmarks and best practices leading to staggering economic value for customers. At the end, I will leave you with a few challenges and potential areas for continued research that we are currently facing.
