SFBBO Birdy Hour Talk: Impacts of Invasive Plants on Wetland Birds

Learn about the ecological impacts of plant invasion in wetland habitats--particularly the consequences to birds. Dr. Rachel Wigginton, Senior Environmental Scientist at the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy, will focus on the impacts of the invasive white top (Lepidium latifolium) on the diets of Suisun Song Sparrows, a CA Species of Special Concern, in the tidal wetlands of Rush Ranch Open Space Preserve, Solano County. Recommended for high school and up.
