The Islands of San Francisco Bay

James Martin will show pictures and discuss his book, The Islands of San Francisco Bay. James A. Martin has been a free-lance magazine/editorial-style photographer for 20 years. His book chronicles the waters, ghost towns, and wildlife of San Francisco Bay. By documenting the wildness of these island habitats, Martin hopes to boost environmental awareness of the Bay's unique ecology. Martin has given his presentation at over 65 venues in the Bay Area, including the California Academy of Sciences, the Commonwealth Club, and the Sierra Club of San Francisco. His slide show includes over 200 images from his book. He will take questions and comments throughout the presentation. To read more about his book, visit www.islandsofSFbay.com.
