Science Safari: Fall Flora and Fauna Hike

Join YSI for a casual guided walk through Vasona County Park to enjoy the fall's flora and fauna.  We will admire fall foliage, hunt for acorns, and see what other wonderful surprises the season brings!  In addition, we will identify plants, look for birds, lizards, and any other creatures that come out in the fall.  Everyone in the family is welcome to come.

We will start our stroll at the Viola Anderson Nature trail behind the YSI building, then hike down to view the Vasona Reservoir.  (It is a dirt trail which may be difficult for strollers).  We will then continue by taking the paved Los Gatos Creek Trail along the east side of Vasona Lake.  All ages welcome!

Spaces are limited.  Advanced registration is required for all Science Safaris.  We regret we can not accommodate drop-ins.
