Archimedes, Atoms, and Archeopteryx- talk and book signing with Peter Larson
Peter Larson, founder and President of the Black Hills Institute, will speak on his new work on Archeopteryx, using equipment first developed to study the original writings of Archimedes. He will be in town to continue work with his team at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, using high energy x-rays as a research tool to unlock important paleontological secrets. After his talk, he will be available to sign his three books: "Rex Appeal: The Amazing Story of Sue, the Dinosaur That Changed Science, the Law, and My Life" [Hardcover] ,"Bones Rock!: Everything You Need to Know to Be a Paleontologist" [Paperback for children] and "Tyrannosaurus rex, the Tyrant King (Life of the Past)" [Hardcover].
