Unlocking Nature's Secrets: The Art and Science of Wildlife Tracking for Conservation and Adventure!

Bart Kowalski is a passionate wildlife tracker and an ecologist with over 10 years of experience in wildlife management, sensitive species monitoring, and habitat restoration. He has earned a Level 3 CyberTracker Track and Sign Certification and co-leads the Bay Area Tracking Club, where he guides and inspires a community of naturalists dedicated to studying California’s wildlife. A CSUMB graduate with a master’s degree in Coastal and Watershed Science and Policy, Bart shares his conservation insights and tracking adventures on his blog, trackandseek.com.

In January’s presentation, Bart will describe wildlife tracking, how it is used in wildlife conservation, and how to get started with this exciting and useful skill of reading animal signs.
