Planning Your Edible Landscape

In this workshop you'll discover the simplicity of growing edibles and incorporating them into your ornamental Garden. Maximize your space in three dimensions. Kathleen Elliot, Horticulturist and owner of Hillcrest Ranch in Sunol will teach you how to companion plant and time your starts. Learn some of the most Bay Area friendly plants including exotic edible perennials. Discuss the differences between direct seeding vs. starting in a pot. Have herbal tea and plant a small herb container garden to take home with you.
