Marine Science Sunday: Patient Superstars of 2026!

This month we reminisce about our patient superstars! Hundreds of marine mammals, ranging from California sea lions to endangered Hawaiian monk seals, were rescued in 2026. Learn about how our team of dedicated volunteers and veterinarians are able to heal these sick, injured and orphaned patients so that they can be released to their ocean home for the holidays.

Sessions at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM or 2:00 PM and last 30 minutes.

Anyone can participate in the program, but you must reserve a general admission ticket to visit The Marine Mammal Center that day.

When planning your visit, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the Marine Science Sunday presentation to take advantage of the limited seating. Traffic in the Marin Headlands can get very busy, especially on weekends, so please plan accordingly.
