Interdisciplinary Green Chemistry: A Catalyst for Change
In keeping with the first-quarter theme of "Environment" for the 2011 International Year of Chemistry, and as a preview of the March 24th conference being organized by the Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry (BCGC) on "Green Chemistry: Collaborative Approaches and New Solutions", the Director of the BCGC will present an overview of the BCGC's approach and the center's initiatives. Topics will include the development of new catalysts for alternative energy applications, the impact of the California Green Chemistry Initiative, and the role of sustainability in chemistry education.
Social Hour: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Dinner: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Presentation: 7:30-8:30 p.m.
