Members of the public are invited to the NASA Ames Exploration Center to view the live, televised launch of the Endeavour space shuttle. This will be the last launch of the Endeavour space shuttle, and the second to last space shuttle mission. Launch is currently scheduled for 12:47 PDT.

The Exploration Center will be open during its normal hours on April 29, 2011 so that members of the public can come view the launch of STS-134. The launch will be preceded by special programming – please check back later for event details.

During the 14-day mission, Endeavour will deliver the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) and spare parts including two S-band communications antennas, a high-pressure gas tank, additional spare parts for Dextre and micrometeoroid debris shields.
