Policy Driving Health Care Transformation: IT and Health Reform

Erwin Cho is the Director of Financial Sustainability for Cal eConnect. He is responsible for business planning, development, and strategic iniatives that facilitate sustainable health information exchange.

Before joining Cal eConnect, Mr. Cho was with Blue Shield of California where he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility related to product development and strategy. Most recently he was Director of business readiness where he managed activities required to integrate dental, vision, and life products into a new information technology system.

Prior to Blue Shield, Mr. Cho was a consultant with Economics Research Associates where he performed financial and organizational analyses, market studies, feasibility and economic impact analysis for public and private clients.

Mr. Cho holds a Master's degree in public policy from Harvard University and a B.A. in Economics and Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. He conducted research as a Fulbright Fellow in Australia on immigration and social policy.
