Friends of Berkeley Lab present:  Fukushima: Fact vs. Fiction

The recent events in Japan have made understanding the risks of radiation more important than ever. In response, Friends of Berkeley Lab have assembled a trio of Berkeley Lab scientists for a special panel presentation on Tuesday, April 12 at the Brower Center in downtown Berkeley.

In the confusing aftermath of Japan's nuclear crisis, three Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory scientists --Thomas McKone, Edward Morse and Robert Budnitz-- discuss the facts about radiation safety, risks, and detection and the implications for human health and the environment. The panel will be moderated by Lance Knobel, co-founder of Berkeleyside.

Please note that because of limited seating, you must RSVP by calling 510-486-7292.
