Google Lit Trips! A Technological Trek Through Great Literature
Sip a glass of wine or cup of coffee and hear Jerome Burg, Founder of the internationally recognized Google Lit Trips project that takes readers of all ages on virtual adventures by pairing the exploration of great literature with Google Earth's paradigm-shifting 3D mapping technologies. Readers enjoy visualizing scenes and engaging their imaginations as the classics, modern literature, or books for young readers come to life in full-color. Media, literature, and the earth itself converge in one of the most exemplary technology integration sites on the educational world wide web. Google Lit Trips was developed by Burg, a high school English teacher for 38 years, as part of the Google Certified Teachers program.
