Backyard Science, CuriOdyssey's newest exhibit

BACKYARD SCIENCE

Where do you go to experiment with science? Does it only take place in a classroom or lab? In reality, science is all around us – even in our own backyards!

CuriOdyssey's newest exhibit, Backyard Science, removes science from the lab and gives it a home in the CuriOdyssey's gardens. Experiment with ambient sound tubes, listen with a giant ear, and test what it's like to have superhuman vision! Kids of all ages can experience scientific phenomena through these curiosity-inspiring, hands-on exhibits.

TINKERING

How will we meet the environmental challenges of today and tomorrow? Every invention, from a sewing needle to a solar cell, came to be as the result of tinkering and experimentation. CuriOdyssey's newest exhibit captures the beauty and intrigue of mechanical processes and highlights the importance of tinkering in the process of innovation.

The Science of Nature

Why does fog fall? What is a water current and what does it look like? Find out at CuriOdyssey's interactive exhibition, The Science of Nature. Touch, swirl, twist, magnetize, and crank eight interactive exhibits to learn how nature's many complex systems work together to create our environment.
