Zero Water
In the '80's and '90's, some businesses began to adopt an ethic of 'zero discharge'--this was especially true for manufacturing processes that had previously been treating wastes from their core activity as 'externalities.' At first viewed by many as an impossibility, it nonetheless established a goal towards which to work. And after a few years of diligence, many companies established new resource recovery streams from their wastes, and today 'zero discharge' is for many a reality.
The presentation will discuss application of this concept to water, methods for achieving, and limitations, followed by a real-world example of 'early adapter' application in a single-family residence, with technical graphics on the components in the system and how it can be achieved.
