Confessions of a Religious Paleontologist... A special presentation with Bay Area Skeptics in the Pub, West Bay
A Bay Area Skeptics in the Pub, West Bay Special Presentation
Confessions of a Religious Paleontologist
Robert Asher, Ph.D.
Can a scientist believe in God? Does the ongoing debate between some evolutionists and evangelicals show that the two sides are irreconcilable? As a paleontologist and a religious believer, Robert Asher constantly confronts the perceived conflict between his occupation and his faith.
Dr. Asher is Curator of Vertebrates in the University Museum of Zoology, Cambridge. Over the past two decades, his research has taken him to Argentina, Britain, Canada, Kenya, Madagascar, Mongolia, South Africa, Spain, the United States and Venezuela. He regularly publishes scientific articles in leading journals including PNAS, Science and Nature.
