High School Robotics Competition

FIRST(R)  Tech Challenge will be hosting their first of 12 Northern California competitions at DeVry University, Fremont campus.    Up to 16 high school teams from the SF Bay area and beyond will be competing in this year's "Bowled Over" challenge.   This is head to head robotics like sports - each 2 robot alliance competing for the most points in a 2.5 minute match.

FIRST Tech Challenge is part of four, K-12 FIRST programs that serve to inspire our young people to be engineers and scientists.    FIRST Tech Challenge is organized locally by Playing At Learning.    The program in Northern California was recently awarded the 2011 Silicon Valley Education Foundation's Benchmark Award in Engineering.
