Pepperwood offers class on Invasive Plants

Ecologist Peter Warner will provide an introduction to the identification, ecology, and management of several invasive wildland weeds common in Sonoma County on Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Pepperwood Preserve. The class is $10.00 and students can register online at http://www.pepperwoodpreserve.org. 

Peter Warner, M.A., is a botanical and ecological consultant for public agencies, non-profit institutions and private landowners. His 30-year career includes work in residential landscape design, applied scientific research, environmental monitoring, ecological restoration, and public lands management. Peter also develops and delivers educational seminars, workshops, and classes in botany, ecology, conservation, land management.
