FREE Science Educators' Day (EDAY) 2011!

The Optical Society (OSA) is hosting our annual Science Educators' Day (EDAY) with the help of OSA Student Chapters at Stanford University, Berkeley University and  San Francisco State University for teachers and parents in the San Jose area who are interested in science education. This program focuses on effective and innovative approaches to science education, with an emphasis on hands-on, interactive classroom activities.

This free event is being held at the Sainte Claire Hotel in downtown San Jose, CA, on Wednesday, 19 October 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Registration is EASY, FREE and open to anyone interested in encouraging and inspiring young students. Please register online by 9 October, 2011.
