Why Did the Turtle Cross the Pacific? Leatherback turtles in the California current

Dr. Scott Benson, NOAA Leatherback turtles that originate from tropical western Pacific beaches perform trans-Pacific movements to temperate California Current foraging grounds. This lecture will include some underwater video footage of a leatherback eating jellies off our coast.
