Following Elephant Seals

Monterey Bay is one of the most diverse regions in the world for both marine mammals and seabirds. Using electronic tags, the Tagging of Pacific Predators program has been monitoring the movements of California sea lions, northern elephant seals, blue and humpback whales, Laysan and black-footed albatrosses, and sooty shearwaters.
