Science at the Library – Cabbage Juice Chemistry

In this chemistry activity, learners will test the pH of various foods and household sustances using cabbage.  The kids will explore the concept of acidic and basic chemicals, learn that pH is a common measure of acidity, and explore various common usses of acids and bases.  Ages: 8-11.  Classes need to call Tim at 557-4549 for reservations.
