San Francisco Math Circle Teachers' Circle - December Meeting

In a new program, just for teachers, SFMC is sponsoring monthly real-food dinners with a special Math Circle speaker. Come to the meeting, eat delicious food, and investigate the beautiful world of mathematics with other teachers! The December Teachers' Circle will be led by Tom Davis. Tom Davis's main interest is in geometry but unfortunately his main abilities lie in logic, the theory of computation, and in mathematical analysis. Thus when he graduated he applied his Stanford PhD in Math to Silicon Graphics for 16 years. Now that he is semi-retired Tom is pursuing his interest in geometry and supporting Math Circles. He has been a regular leader at Math Circles in Berkeley, San Jose and Stanford for years and has many Math Circle lessons available to share on his website: www.geometer.org/mathcircles
