Science on Saturday Lecture: All About SOFIA
Have you ever wanted to know why we use infrared astronomy? Join us in the NASA Ames Exploration Center on December 10th at 2:00 pm for a lecture and demonstration about infrared astronomy. SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy) is one of NASA's most recent missions that uses this section of the electromagnetic spectrum to learn more about our universe. Astronomer Randolf Klein has partnered with Branham School teacher Marita Beard to bring you a unique experience all about the field of infrared astronomy.
