'One Beach' and 'Thirty Thousand': Special Screening

The 9th Annual San Francisco Ocean Film Festival is almost here! Join us for a special screening of two unique films, "One Beach" and "Thirty Thousand" and learn more about the upcoming films and events for the festival on March 8 - 11, 2012. We've teamed up with our friends at the San Francisco Chapter of Surfrider Foundation and Barefoot Wines & Bubbly to present "One Beach" a film featuring the life changing stories of five key individuals destined to make an impact on the health of our oceans and preventing the use of plastic. On hand for a post-screening Q&A session will be Judith and Richard Lang, featured artists in the "One Beach" film for their work in creating art out of plastic discovered at Kehoe Beach in the Point Reyes National Seashore. Be mesmerized by the award winning music and landscape of "Thirty Thousand" following the journey of Australian surfers and twin brothers Richard and Andrew James as they drive across Africa catching some of the longest waves imaginable while also capturing breathtaking African scenery. Winner of the 2011 Best Soundtrack at the New York Surf Film Festival, don't miss the Bay Area premiere of this amazing surfing film.
