Chinese Environmental Policy and International Cooperation

In much of the news about China, China has been painted as an adversary, an economics competitor, a rising superpower to be reckoned with.  Yet few sepak about the collaborations between China and the world, especially in regards to environmental policy.  At this event, experts on campus and from the Bay Area will help shed light on this issue through the lens of government, NGOs, and academia.

The speakers will include:

Alex WangVisiting Assistant Professor of Law at Boalt, former Director of the China Environmental Law Project at NRDC

Jessica Kao- Lead for the China Initiative at USEPA Region IX

He Gang- PhD candidate in the Energy and Resources Group, Graduate Research Assistant for the China Energy Group at LBNL

And the discussion will be moderated by, Linden Ellis, former U.S. Program Director for chinadialogue. We hope to see you there for an insightful and enlightening conversation!
