Robert Ferguson Observatory-Public Solar Observing
Solar telescopes are set up so you can safely look at and listen to our favorite star, the Sun. Solar observing is scheduled from (12:00noon-4:00pm)
Restrooms, handicapped parking, and wheelchair access are available. Parking is in an open lot next to the White Barn at the end of the road. Just a short walk past the small green gate, and up the paved road brings you to the observatory.
Vehicles with handicapped placards can drive up to the observatory and park next to the enterance.
Vehicle Fee: The State Park Service charges $8.00 per vehicle to enter Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Visitors can self pay at the Ranger Shack as you enter. Place the payment stub on your dashboard.
