Global Warming Skepticism

April's SkepTalk from the Bay Area Skeptics will present the evidence for global climate change, the reasons that some continue to deny its existence, and what can be done to change both.

The speaker is Mark McCaffrey, Programs and Policy Director at the National Center for Science Education (NCSE).  He holds an MA degree in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.  Mr. McCaffrey joined NCSE from the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Scienes at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he was Associate Scientist III.  He helped to develop the Climate Literacy & Energy Awareness Network (CLEAN), and he testified before the House Subcommittee on Research regarding climate and environmental education.
