Don't get Lost in the Woods-Learn map Reading, GPS Basics at Pepperwood

 This fun interactive class will include map fundamentals of terrain, contours, symbols, map projections, coordinate systems, and scaling. Participants will learn waypoint collection, compass reading, map to landscape interpretation, and field sketching. Ms. Kennedy has a bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University in biophysical geography. She has worked on plant pathology, soil, and GIS projects for the past twelve years.
