August 11 Astronomy Program On Mt Diablo

Please join Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society for the August 11^th astronomy program.  The program starts at 7:00 (enter the park at least 45 minutes earlier) at the lower summit parking lot.  Although there is no fee for this program there is a $10 park entrance fee.  This month's program is – "Rocks From Space" See and discuss meteorites.

See stars, nebula, galaxies, clusters, the moon and planets through member telescopes.  Bring kids, binoculars, warm clothes (temperature can drop), snacks, water.  No need for a flashlight but if you must bring one cover it in red plastic.  Escorted exit several times during the evening through Northgate entrance.
