Survival Nightlife

Play MacGyver for a night (or Bear Grylls, if that's more your style). Learn how to hone your survival skills from people who actually know how. Adventure Out will demonstrate essential survival tips to help you think on your feet while in the wilderness, including animal tracking. Enjoy a talk by professional surfer and sailing adventurer Liz Clark, hosted by Patagonia. In the planetarium, learn about asteroids, followed by two showings of Earthquake: Evidence of a Restless Planet. Discover how Academy researchers rough it on expeditions around the world, coping with leeches, fevers, washed out roads, and other challenging conditions with expedition doctor Matt Lewin.
