Science In Action

The Science in Action program, sponsored by the Northern California Chapter of American Vacuum Society [NCCAVS], provides an opportunity for students ages 6 through 12, to understand about the air surrounding us.  Using a different student for each demonstration and experiment provides hands-on participation.  From seeing a partially expanded and sealed balloon grow, to the collapse of a plastic water bottle, to expansion of a giant size marshmallow, the students will learn that our common air has pressure.
