A Fox's Tale

Join the Environmental Volunteers at the EcoCenter to find out more about the gray fox from specialist Bill Leikam. Participants will enjoy a short presentation and Q&A session with Mr. Leikam, see research equipment that helps scientists observe and better understand gray foxes, and we'll finish with a short guided walk in the Baylands. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Bill Leikam has studied the behavioral characteristics of the California gray fox in local habitats such as the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge and the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve.
