Disaster Preparedness Awareness Day at the Bay Model

The goal of the Disaster Preparedness Awareness Day is to educate the public regarding the importance of and methods for preparing themselves, their families, and their communities to best handle disasters and emergencies that they may encounter.  The public will also have the opportunity to learn what steps the City of Sausalito is taking in the realm of disaster preparedness and emergency management. 

 

Citizens will have the opportunity to speak with public safety professionals and view first hand emergency equipment from law enforcement, fire, and other organizations.  A helicopter from the California Highway Patrol is scheduled to participate in this event.
