Climate Change from the Biotic to the Exotic

How will climate change affect the flavor of wine?  Are warming oceans responsible for the recent global jellyfish outbreak?  Do we know how a rise in atmospheric carbon dioxide will affect poison ivy, tobacco, or even sea anemones?  Science blogger Minda Berbeco will talk about what climate research shows, and what questions it has yet to answer.

Minda Berbeco is a Programs and Policy Director at the National Center for Science Education where she works to defend science education in the United States.  She earned a PhD in biology from Tufts University. Dr. Berbeco has spent her career investigating the unexpected and unusual effects of climate change on terrestrial systems, and, in particular, on biological organisms.
