'Dive!' Film Screening at Albany High School

Food Shift, a local non-profit organization, will be hosting a film screening of the documentary film "Dive!". The film will be followed by a discussion of the film and a Q&A lead by the Food Shift team.

40% of all food produced in the United States is wasted. This means that all the resources that went into growing, processing, packing and transporting that food are wasted too. 25% of all fresh water in the U.S. is used to produce food that is thrown away. Meanwhile 50 million Americans are hungry. The film "Dive!" draws attention to this issue and inspires viewers to be more conscious about food in their own lives.
